Srirampore subdivision is a subdivision of the Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of six municipalities (Serampore, Uttarpara Kotrung, Konnagar, Rishra, Baidyabati and Dankuni) and four community development blocks: Chanditala–I, Chanditala–II, Jangipara and Sreerampur Uttarpara. The four blocks contain 37 gram panchayats and 16 census towns. The subdivision has its headquarters at Serampore. ==Area== Apart from the six municipalities of Serampore, Uttarpara Kotrung, Konnagar, Rishra, Baidyabati and Dankuni, the subdivision contains 16 census town and rural areas of 37 gram panchayats under four community development blocks: Chanditala–I, Chanditala–II, Jangipara and Sreerampur Uttarpara.
